Our approach
A fixed price, clear steps and an update every week

Understand first, then create
Every project starts with the content. We first want to understand how it works and who needs to understand it, whether it is a machine, a medical product or a step in the energy transition. Only then do we think about the visuals. You get a fixed price based on a clear scope, and one dedicated contact who thinks along on both content and technology. We write the scenario: what appears on screen and in which order. You don't have to arrange the voice-over script yourself. You can write it, but we can also recommend and bring in a copywriter. Either way, we review it and advise on whether it works with the visuals.
this is our
process

Briefing
We start with a conversation about your product, your audience and what the animation needs to achieve. You then receive a proposal with a fixed price, a schedule and a clear scope. In it, you also choose any extras, such as formats per channel or short versions. Once you approve, we get started.

Concept & storytelling
We dive into the content: how the product works, what makes it unique and what the viewer already knows. We look at the audience and the competition, and use that to develop the concept and the storyline.

Kick off
With everyone involved at the table, we finalise the storyline. We align the schedule and agree on the feedback moments. We only move on once the storyline is right.

Storyboarding
The storyboard shows scene by scene what appears on screen and in which order. An animated storyboard also lets you judge the timing, for example against the voice-over.

Concept design
In styleframes we define the look and feel: still images in your brand style that show what the animation will look like. We present the storyboard, animated storyboard and styleframes together in the pre-production presentation. You give feedback on it in one round, and then we move into production.

Production
From here on, you get an update and a feedback moment every week. For example: first the camera animation with simple models, then the right models and textures, then the animation of the parts and finally the final preview. The exact order differs per project.

Sound
Music, sound effects and voice-over give the animation feeling and emphasis. Once you approve the final preview, we render the final images and finish the audio mix.

Release
You receive the animation in the agreed format. You choose extras in the proposal: formats per channel (16:9, 1:1, 9:16), short versions, stills, subtitles and language versions. We also advise on where and how to use the animation.
