Their services go beyond traditional energy carriers like petroleum products and increasingly focus on new, sustainable energy sources. Through strategic partnerships such as with Fluxys for green ammonia import and Power2X for sustainable aviation fuel, Advario enables concrete steps toward a more sustainable future. Their e-SAF hub is a key pillar of this strategy, pursuing technological advancement while valuing the people behind these innovations.
Het doel
The goal of this project is to create an impactful brand film that convincingly showcases Advario’s leading role in the energy transition. The film should highlight both the technological progress and initiatives of Advario, as well as the human side of this transition. By presenting the diversity of employees and partners their daily work and contributions to sustainable ambitions, Advario aims to deliver a manifesto that emphasizes their commitment to change and connection. The brand film speaks to multiple audiences, including government bodies involved in permitting, current and potential customers, and (new) employees, inspiring them to be part of Advario’s mission for a sustainable future.
Onze oplossing
The brand film that places people at the heart of the energy transition while emphasizing its human dimension, supported by our advanced animation techniques that visualize Advario’s technological innovations. We did not do the live-action filming; our contribution focused on VFX: creating animation overlays, precise tracking, compositing, and adding stand-alone animated sequences that bring installations and concepts to life. At four strategic locations: Rotterdam, Abu Dhabi, Antwerp, and Texas, specific animation sequences were created to visualize facilities and concepts. A voice-over carries a clear and honest narrative, while technical linework and renders make construction and realization understandable against atmospheric landscapes and harbour backdrops, connecting the story to the wider society.

Our added value lies in seamlessly integrating emotional storytelling with high-end technical animation. By strategically combining different visual techniques and locations, we created a coherent narrative that informs and inspires. The blend of live-action plates provided by production with our VFX overlays, motion design, and CG elements results in a dynamic visual experience across contexts.

The technical challenges included creating realistic animations that integrate flawlessly with live-action footage from diverse locations. For Rotterdam, we projected virtual installations within office environments; in Abu Dhabi Antwerp and Texas, we combined aerial footage with virtual facilities. Extensive tracking, rotoscoping, and multiple levels of modeling and texturing detail required careful planning and execution to maintain spot on design and continuity across shots.
outcomes
A compelling brand film that makes complex infrastructure feel human and clearly positions Advario as a frontrunner. Holographic, abstract glimpses of future plans reveal scale and ambition, giving audiences an intuitive sense of what’s coming. The film has been very well received by stakeholders and audiences alike.
