With the development of Maxem Energy Cloud and in combination with the Maxem Energy Controller and the Maxem Energy App, they ensure that the energy flows in the building are managed more efficiently.

Product

The Maxem Energy Cloud is a unique SaaS solution that makes it possible to monitor and control charging stations, solar panels, stationary batteries and the grid connection. This ensures that fleets are supplied with power smartly and efficiently. The platform used static, isometric images that provide an abstract view of a location. This view showed the assets that were present at the customer's respective location.

The goal

The goal of developing animated modular assets is to provide more insight into exactly what is happening at a location on the platform's dashboard. By displaying this in a more dynamic way, the user has more insight into the energy flows, which charging stations are occupied and active, etc. This ensures more engagement and the user can then respond to this by, for example, adjusting the loading schedule. In addition, there was the wish to also use the visuals on the Maxem company page.

Our solution

In order to communicate the large amount of information in an attractive overview, we worked with different layers. Including the ground layer grid and a set of fixed components (office, power supply, infrastructure, etc). In addition, additional components such as company-specific additions (truck loading facility, energy storage, etc.), animated parts such as cars that schematically show the occupancy of the loading facility. In addition, interactive graphics have also been developed, including at the charging stations that indicate the average status of the infrastructure (number of cars full, failure, etc.).
